Welcome Admitted Students! We'll be posting important updates and information here for members of the WashU Class of 2029 and families.

Visiting on WashU Bear Days
Bear Days are a wonderful opportunity to visit Washington University and see all that our campus has to offer.  We’re thrilled to welcome our admitted students and their families and share about Jewish life on campus.  Please stop by Hillel for an informal Bear Day Open House on 3/21, 3/29, 4/4, and 4/21 from 2-4 pm.  Light refreshments will be served (dietary laws observed).  RSVPs are not required.

Please note: WashU Hillel will be closed to visitors for final Passover preparations on Friday, April 11 and we will not be participating in the Bear Day on that date.

If you can’t make our Open House on the date you’ll be visiting, please email Rina Gersten, WashU Hillel’s Senior IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement, at Rina@washuhillel.org to arrange a different time to learn about Hillel and Jewish campus life (in-person or via Zoom).

Visiting during Passover
Passover is an excellent time to come to campus and also experience the energy and vibrancy of Jewish life at WashU.  We encourage admitted and prospective families to join us for one of our Kosher for Passover meals with our student community!  Lunches will take place Sunday, April 13 thru Sunday, April 20 between 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and Dinners will be Monday, April 14 thru Shabbat Dinner on Friday, April 18 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  Meals are free for current and prospective students.  Family member meals are $25 per person, with the exception of our brisket meals (Lunch 4/14 and Dinner 4/18), which are $36/person.  RSVPs are required here.

If you are coming during Passover, we will also be offering prospective student and family visits at Hillel on April 14-18 at 4:15pm (if you can’t make it over for lunch).  This allows you to attend the 2 pm Admissions Info Session and Campus Tour and to come by Hillel afterward.  If you need to schedule a different date or time, please email Rina Gersten, WashU Hillel’s Senior IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement, at rina@washuhillel.org to arrange a different time in-person or via Zoom.
